'The power of the Constitution will always be in the people.'

Norm Beznoska Jr., Letter to Editor: In light of the government's latest attack on the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution (involving the "illegal" seizure of phone records and emails of over 100 million Americans), I believe someone should place the words of the Fourth Amendment on Obama's teleprompter every day:"The right of the people to be secure in their person, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violates, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation. and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."Section 215, subsection 501 of the Patriot Act which Obama uses as a convenient excuse, prohibits what his NSA did against American citizens (with his permission) without first conducting an investigation by the FBI under the guidelines approved by the Attorney General under Executive Order 12333 (or a successor order) and (1) not be conducted of a United States person solely upon the basis of activities protected by the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

In addition, the FBI must then apply to a FISA court judge or US Magistrate under chapter 43 of Title 28, United States Code, who is publicly designated by the Chief Justice of the United States to have the power to hear applications and grant orders for the production of tangible things under this section on behalf of a judge of that court; and (2) shall specify that the records concerned are sought for an authorized investigation conducted in accordance with subsection (a)(2) to protect against international terrorism or clandestine intelligence activities.

In signing the Constitution and approving the ten amendments which comprise our 'Bill of Rights', President George Washington wrote: "I, as one of the We, the People of the United States, affirm that I have read or will read our U.S. Constitution and pledge to maintain and promote its standard of Liberty for myself and for my posterity, and do hereby attest to that by my signature."

In addition, President, Washington said: "The power of the Constitution will always be in the people." Too bad the Obama regime has forgotten that simple statement of fact.
