What a Gruber Week It Was
Kerpen summed it all up in this quote on Fox News |
I immediately clipped the offending portion of the video and sent it out -- and wow did it take off:
Our YouTube video now has nearly a million views. Fox News has been playing it a lot and has had me on a couple times. CNN, CBS, and other outlets have finally been shamed into covering it too. NPR even had me on to discuss it.
Bloomberg News, of all places, did a terrific profile of Rich Weinstein and the story behind the video. (Beware a regular guy who got his plan canceled and premium doubled!)
One of the things we really pride ourselves on at American Commitment is providing a platform for regular citizens who have great research or great ideas to reach a wider audience, so if you've seen anything important that nobody is reporting on, please let us know about it!
We are pushing hard for Congress to call Gruber up to face some tough questions, and we just posted another video of him talking about how the Cadillac Tax was mislabeled as a tax on insurance companies when it's really a tax on people.
And let's not forget that another Gruber lie, about the availability of subsidies in the federal exchange, is at the heart of a case now headed to the Supreme Court. We wrote about that here back in July.

“Gruber has exposed what liberals really think of the American people. … It’s one thing for Americans to suspect that their president lies to them. It’s quite another to hear a key Obama adviser boast of it. … We now know how the Obama left sees the American people. We are like children who don’t understand what is best for us. We need experts such as Jonathan Gruber to make decisions for us.” — Marc A. Thiessen
