The President’s Non-state of the Union Political Address

by Patrick L. Booth, Contributing Author: Having been asked by people whether or not I’ll listen to Obama’s address, I state an unequivocal NO. It’d be a waste of time. Obama, as a pathological liar and socialist, will offer free programs not authorized by the Constitution, castigate congress for disagreeing with the ignorant stupidity of Democrats, and warn the SCOTUS that he has the power and the people are behind him, while claiming non-existent success for everything, all lies. [sociopath’s - typically those who lie incessantly to get their way with little concern for others, goal-oriented (i.e., focused lying done to get one’s way), having little regard or respect for the rights of others, often charming and charismatic using social skills in manipulative and self-centered ways.]

Our nation was founded upon ideas of equal rights, liberty, opportunity, and protection. The 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments guaranteed universal freedom (but not from want), citizenship (for those born in the USA), and voting rights regardless of color or gender for citizens. They did not expect nor attempt equal results nor possessions knowing people differ widely in abilities and effort. Democrats insist equality of outcome guaranteed by government is required.

People cannot delegate to government anything they’ve not legal right of doing themselves. Kind hearted people give of their excess to those whom they see as needy but cannot legally take possessions from a third party to give to the needy as that would be theft. The moment government undertakes to level material possessions by taking from one person to give to another, it becomes guilty of theft, however legalized or justified by law. When governments are authorized legalized theft then they’ve the power to deprive any persons of their lives, liberties, and properties thus canceling out guaranteed equal rights.

Samuel Adams believed, “The Utopian schemes of leveling wealth, and a community of goods, are as visionary and impracticable as those which vest all property in the Crown. These ideas are arbitrary, despotic, and, in our government, unconstitutional.” Socialists and communists believe otherwise.

When Social Security was established, numerous court cases arose declaring the unconstitutionality of such a uniform charity run by the federal government. What finally ended the suits was a SCOTUS decision that SS is a head tax and government can tax as it will for the general welfare of the population.

It was once widely held that to give men means to increase their dependency blunts their desires to work for their living and smothers their instinct to strive and excel for themselves. Rather, give the poor the satisfaction of earned achievement instead of rewarding them for no achievement. Strictly enforce responsibility; for himself, his family, his church, his community, and his county, in emergency or disaster, the state. Under no circumstances is the federal government to become involved in public welfare as that corrupts both government and the poor nor is their any constitutional authority to participate in federal charity or welfare. Such was thought law until the SCOTUS decided the general welfare clause constituted cart blanche authority to tax and redistribute as politicians saw fit thus we have multilevel income taxes and welfare payments.

Still, the President of the USA has NO authority to tax nor spend even the first dime not confiscated and authorized by the House of Representatives.
