Paul Ryan on GOP 2016 Presidential Nomination . . .
. . . 'Count me out'!
PBS News Hour: House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wis. finished a news conference at the Republican National Committee on Capitol Hill in Washington (Tuesday, April 12, 2016) by putting an end to rumors that he would potentially be given the Republican party's nomination for president.
He said, “I do not want nor will I accept the nomination for our party.” He added, “So let me speak directly to the delegates on this: if no candidate has a majority on the first ballot, I believe you should only choose a person who actually participated in the primary. Count me out.”
“I simply believe that if you want to be the nominee – to be the president – you should actually run for it. I chose not to. Therefore, I should not be considered. Period.”

Mark my words...if it comes to this, another freshman Senator (Tom Cotton) , will be the pick of the establishment GOP.
