Debate Night, Political Terrorism, Trump For Term Limits, Embarrassed By Israel
by Gary Bauer, Contributing Author: Debate Night - The third and final presidential debate airs tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET. The debate will be broadcast from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Tonight's debate will be moderated by Chris Wallace of Fox News.
The topics for tonight's debate will be: Debt and entitlements, immigration, the economy, the Supreme Court, foreign hot spots and the candidates' fitness to be president. I have no idea what will be said tonight, but here's my take on these subjects:
Sadly, the political terrorism continued overnight as bricks were thrown through the windows of the GOP headquarters in Delaware County, Indiana. And on Monday, the Arizona GOP headquarters was shut down and evacuated after a bomb threat.
If these incidents were happening at Democrat offices, the media would be hyperventilating about the hatred on the right. They would be all in on stoking that theme. But because it is happening to Republicans, well, no big deal.
When the North Carolina attack happened, Hillary immediately denounced the act, but she can't escape her responsibility. She accused Donald Trump and his supporters of being "deplorable" and "irredeemable." She called them xenophobes, homophobes, Islamophobes and probably a few other names I have forgotten.
Others on the left have compared Trump to Hitler. And the demonization of conservatives has been an ongoing theme of the Obama presidency. (Here, here and here.)
As we have seen this week, thanks to undercover videos, the political terrorism that has taken place this year wasn't spontaneous. The mob violence and assaults at Trump rallies was pre-meditated.
One person was fired. One has resigned. It's not enough. This was not the work of some low-level staffer. The man behind this sick scheme visited the White House more than 300 times and met with Barack Obama more than 40 times!
There should be a national outcry against this, and I hope Donald Trump brings it up tonight and shames the media for not reporting it. Millions of Americans will be watching. It may be the only time they hear about it.
I have warned for years that the left has a propensity for violence. The anti-war riots of the 1960s, the Occupy Wall Street movement and the Black Lives Matter movement all share the thread of violence inspired by far left radicals.
America's silent majority had better fight back and take back our country while we still can. Stand with the candidates who support law and order and the men and women in our law enforcement community. Those candidates are Donald Trump and Mike Pence!
Trump For Term Limits - Donald Trump hit two major populist themes yesterday. During a rally in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Trump blasted political corruption and vowed to fight for congressional term limits.
"If I'm elected president I will push for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress," Trump declared. "Decades of failure in Washington and decades of special-interest dealing must and will come to an end."
Term limits would be a good way to start breaking down Washington's monopoly on political power. No wonder the political elites in both parties are fighting so hard to defeat Trump!
I have written this before, but it is worth repeating again: In this election, Donald Trump is the agent of change. Hillary Clinton represents more scandals and more Obama. We have had enough of both!
Embarrassed By Israel? If you need more evidence of growing anti-Semitism and anti-Israel hostility among the political left, look no further than Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.
The latest batch of Wikileaks includes an exchange between Hillary's top policy aides and campaign officials hammering out key talking points in her stump speech.
When Jake Sullivan, a foreign policy aide, insisted on including Israel in her speech, Robby Mook, Hillary's campaign manager, vetoed the idea, writing, "We shouldn't have Israel at public events. Especially dem [Democratic] activists."
In response, Sullivan replied, "I won't fall on [my] sword over Israel." Eventually it was decided that Hillary would only mention Israel behind closed doors when "she's with donors."
Clearly, Mook knew that the mood of his left-wing base was increasingly hostile to Israel, our most trusted ally in the Middle East. And it is telling that Sullivan wasn't willing to "fall on his sword over Israel." That speaks volumes about the dramatic shift within the Democrat Party.

The topics for tonight's debate will be: Debt and entitlements, immigration, the economy, the Supreme Court, foreign hot spots and the candidates' fitness to be president. I have no idea what will be said tonight, but here's my take on these subjects:
- On the debt and entitlements -- Obama has doubled the national debt over the course of his eight years and saddled the country with another massive entitlement program, which is collapsing. Hillary Clinton is promising more of the same.
- We have major problems with illegal immigration. There is news today that asylum requests on the southern border are up 900% since Obama took office and started granting de facto amnesties.
We have refugees pledging their loyalty to ISIS and plotting to murder innocent Americans. There are millions of illegal immigrants taking jobs and undercutting the wages of working Americans.
Only one candidate is serious about securing our borders -- Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton dreams of open borders. - Barack Obama's failed left-wing policies have produced the weakest economy in modern history, with massive budget deficits. Hillary Clinton is promising more of the same.
- Control of the Supreme Court hangs in the balance. Donald Trump is promising to appoint pro-life judges like Antonin Scalia. Hillary Clinton is promising to appoint pro-abortion radicals. This issue alone should drive every Christian and conservative voter to the polls in support of the Trump/Pence ticket.
- When it comes to foreign hot spots, Trump may be at a distinct disadvantage. Hillary Clinton certainly knows a lot more about foreign hot spots -- having created quite a few of them herself!
Her foreign policy has been a disaster -- Egypt, Syria, Libya, the failed reset with Russia, the terrible Iran deal. Oh, by the way, even the White House now concedes it is losing the war in Afghanistan to the Taliban.
The next president is going to inherit a huge mess on the world stage. Hillary was the architect of Obama's failed foreign policy. I think we need a change. - On their fitness to be president, here's the bottom line: Both candidates are seriously flawed. But one is promising good policies while the other promises more scandals and more failed policies. How is that a tough call?
