WSJ CONFIRMS: Shock Firing Was A Google Hit
Phil Kerpen |
After reviewing the Obama-Google plan to pirate TV content and monetize and track what you watch, Pallante concluded correctly: “only Congress, through the exercise of its power under the Copyright Clause, and not the FCC or any other agency, has the constitutional authority to create exceptions and limitations in copyright law.”
According to the Wall Street Journal, Pallante’s statement “prompted outrage from groups funded by Google”, and it looks like “Google’s lobbying influence was brought to bear in removing Ms. Pallante.”
Google and Obama have a very special relationship, with a shocking 250 people moving back and forth between the company and the administration.
But you probably already knew that, because we at American Commitment work hard to keep track of the big-ticket economic issues that unfortunately too often fly below the national radar — and with your help we've been pushing back.
Pallante’s firing is perhaps the strongest evidence yet of the troubling collusion between the Obama administration and Google, and that’s what makes this scandal so significant. Cross them and, even if you’re right on the law and simply doing your job, you’ll be punished.
