We Rained On Their Parade!
by Phil Kerpen, Contributing Author: As you may have noticed, today liberal extremist groups and corporate special interests launched a bizarre fearmongering campaign to attempt to scare Americans into supporting Barack Obama’s radical Internet regulations.
But we had a surprise for them.
While liberal groups attempted to clog the phone lines on Capitol Hill with support for Obama’s Internet regulations and taxes – American Commitment delivered OVER ONE MILLION comments to Congress from patriotic Americans like you AGAINST Obama’s Internet takeover!
Today we stole a lot of thunder from the lavishly funded liberal groups and corporate special interests.
These groups and dopey Democratic elected officials are actually claiming that repealing Obama’s Internet regulations will destroy the Internet, even though these rules weren’t adopted until 2015 and many of the consequences of these regulations (including a potential broadband tax) are still surfacing. The real way to protect Internet freedom is to repeal these regulations and restore the free-market approach that worked incredibly well from 1996 to 2015.
Never forget that the leading liberal group we were up against today previously admitted that the “ultimate goal” of the Obama-era rules is “to get rid of the media capitalists in the phone and cable companies and to divest them from control.”1
Thankfully, the massive number of comments we delivered today surely set these tech-socialists back. Together, we will defeat Obama’s disastrous Internet regulations.
If you haven't joined the effort, Click here to tell Congress and the FCC to STOP Obama’s Internet Regulations!
If you have already signed on, THANK YOU and please take the next step and forward this article to your friends and family who support Internet Freedom.
