US Marines Physically Harassed by Americans
Democrats' Extreme Friends:
US Marines "Unwelcome Intruders"
Liberal extremists on the City Council of Berkeley, California recently passed a resolution labeling brave United States Marines as unwelcome and uninvited visitors within the city's boundaries. According to the Sacramento Bee, "... City Council ... labeled military recruiters stationed [in Berkeley] as 'intruders' and pronounced them a 'violent influence' on the city's youth"
Additionally, the Sacramento Bee reported, "It [the Berkeley City Council] also gave the anti-war group Code Pink a permanent parking space in front of the recruiting office, from which it could stage its frequent protests." (Sacramento Bee, 2/12/08)
Senate Democrats are blocking the Senate from saying anything official about this situation and allowing this outrageous insult by the city of Berkeley to go unanswered. Senate Republicans are committed to supporting our troops and fighting back against the radical Senate Democrat agenda. I wouldn't wish the future that military recruiters offer on anybody. Giving up your personal freedoms to risk life and limb for a monotonous life that regresses any intellect you may of had before you join an organization that is full of narrow minded frat boys that barely graduated high school. I know, because I am in the U.S. Army. Most of the military is full of mean sheep with not much else to do except try to live out their video game fantasies. I regret my decision to join the service everyday, and I would protest the same way if I could. This isn't WWII, it's Vietnam II. I'm scared that the pious Christians are going to bring us back into the Dark Ages. -PFC, U.S. Army
