Incumbent Landrieu Kicked to the Curb By Louisiana Voters
Yesterday, in Lousiana's U.S. Senate run-off, Republican Congressman Bill Cassidy defeated three term incumbent Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu for the U.S. Senate seat. Cassidy led Landrieu by 16 points, 58 percent to 42 percent.
Cassidy is the ninth Republican to capture a previously Democratic U.S. Senate seat this year.
Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS), chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, noted that with Cassidy win, "Republicans now control every Senate seat, governor’s mansion and legislative body from the Texas high plains to the Atlantic coast of the Carolinas."
When the race was called, the Louisiana Republican Party posted this picture on Facebook.

That's what happens when you ignore the will of the people. Take note Republicans.
