I agree on this one! This is the worst trade bill ever! Clinton signed Nafta and MFN and it has had a disasterous effect on our ecomony. One thing conservatives have to realize is that voting Republican is not really the solution. I have not seen in the economic policies for instance of Ted Cruz or Ron Paul any mention of tearing up these disastrous trade agreements.

Bill Smith, What is worse is the fact that many Republicans are owned by the same dark wall street forces that put numbers ahead of our national security and well being are on the Obama wagon on this one.

  2. Ron Swartz, Great comment. Also, I have several conservative contributing authors. However, we do not agree on everything. So you are not in disagreement with me. :)

Yes so this is not really a Democrat Republican thing here. Like the page says it is about right and wrong not right and left. Certainly if main street is going to recoup it's losses we must build grass roots candidates along with parties both for conservative and progressives. Now this is a conservative solution page here so I try to stick to conservative solutions. However I don't always limit myself to conservative solutions or progressive solutions in genera.as sometimes we need progressive solutions. For instance from an economical stand point I don't see where an economy with the wealth concentration so much in the hands of a few people with stock market price increases far exceeding the average income or an increase in GDP can be sustainable. Since I believe the cause of our 2008 crash and the one we are heading for now is from deregulation most of my solutions are progressive. Restore Glass Steagal which kept us fairly crash free from it's inception in the 1930s to it's repeal in 1999. However I try to post them in progressive sites. A conservative solution would be for people to avoid investing in the stock market on a personal level. I suggest in favorable places people invest in Solar power. This is a stable investment even though production does tend to diminish over decades if your other investments tank at least you have lower utility bills to deal with.

Obviously we need to vote Democrats and Republicans out that support this horrible trade deal! As I said above I believe that Republicans are no more conservative than Democrats are progressive. In the mean time in staying with the theme of the page a conservative solution is to use market forces. http://madeinusachallenge.com/made-in-america-master-list/

Another solution is to talk to the people at the store and request that they carry American made products. Home Depot actually does have some American made products. We need to derail the fast track express in our everyday shopping choices as well!
