The Fight Ahead

by Cam Edward: The new year has shaped up to be a busy one for NRA members, with pro-gun legislation introduced in dozens of state legislatures and Congress. Meanwhile, anti-gun activists are hoping to gain ground in their coastal strongholds like California and Massachusetts, as well as states like Nevada and New Mexico, where anti-gun politicians gained control of legislatures last November. It’s hard to keep track of all the legislative activity, but thankfully NRA members have a couple of fantastic resources.

First, make sure you’re signed up for your NRA-ILA grassroots alerts. This will keep you notified about upcoming legislative hearings and other action items where your voice can make a real difference. Then, tune in to “Cam & Co.” weekdays on NRATV, SiriusXM Patriot 125, and iHeartRadio. There, you’ll get interviews with the lawmakers who are championing our right to keep and bear arms, like our recent conversation with Congressman Richard Hudson, the author of HR 38, the National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act. You’ll also get legislative updates from state NRA affiliates and NRA-ILA reps working to secure our rights from inside statehouses around the country.
