The Main Stream Media's Lies, Bias And Deceit

by Dr. Jack Sternberg, Contributing Author: I am so glad that over the years the Holy Spirit has help me control my previous bad tempter. For years I would fly off the handle at the slightest provocation or personal disrespect. But I must confess that the actions of the mainstream media and the left are pushing me to the limits of my ability to stay calm and in control. I don’t like how I have been feeling yet I don’t want to react in my “flesh.” Yet, I don’t know how much more I can tolerate without reacting “in the old self.”

For example, I’m watching the news when the 1st quarter GDP is announced to be 0.7%; a horrible number. The commentator states as a matter of fact that this proves President Trump’s economic policies are a failure. Really? He has actually only been in office approximately two months of this first quarter and nothing he desires to do economically has yet to be implemented. This number actually proves that President Obama’s economic policies were the failure but the commentator would never admit to that fact. The truth is, only with the passage of time will we know if Trump’s economic agenda and tax policy revisions will be successful. Improving the economy will take time. President Obama had eight years and essentially failed to return America to significant prosperity. It used to be the media continually bashed President Ronald Reagan and President George Bush, now its President Trump X 10 (or more).

We finally have a president who is willing to address dangerous issues and countries that threaten America’s safety, now and in the future. But the mainstream media portrays him, as they did Ronald Reagan, as an out of control cowboy who wants to start WWIII. To them, it is better to ignore the problems as if they don’t exist. Alternatively, they expect negotiations (which have repeatedly failed in the past) to lead to peace. They ignore the wise words of George Santayana, "Those Who Do Not Learn History Are Doomed To Repeat It." But failed policies are what they cling to.

So, the Main Stream media claims President Trump is a warmonger due to his statements towards North Korea. But earlier this week, he said he would be thrilled to meet with North Korea’s President and talk. So now he’s a fool to want to meet with him, according to those same people. Damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. Is there any action from Trump that would satisfy them and make them happy outside of him resigning or being impeached?

We’ve all been taught from an early age that you must stand up to a bully or else the bully feels empowered to do even more bullying. So it was when Obama did not stand up to Syrian President Assad over the use of chemical weapons. Assad saw this as weakness, knowing nothing he did would have American consequences. This led to the same analysis from Russian President Putin. So Putin invaded Crimea and became more involved in the Middle East and now backs evil governments. Putin knew there would be no significant consequences from Obama to his actions. Now there’s President Trump who will respond to the bullies (some would say because it takes one to know one but that’s another newsletter) in the way that is necessary and they now know it.

I know I’ve kind of been rambling all over the place in this article but it just irks me how the left and the media are so biased against President Trump. How is it that the two sides can look at and analyze the same information and come to diametrically opposite conclusions? How is that we believe he has accomplished so much in his first one hundred days (for which we are thrilled) and they claim he has done nothing and what he has done is evil. Truth be told, we can’t wait to see how much more he will accomplish in the future and all they expect is failure and more failure.

And I expect it will just go on and on. As Trump would tweet, “So sad!”
