May 9th’s Internet Communism Push: Left’s Net Neutrality ‘Red Alert’ Infests Capitol Hill

by Seton Motley: Red is, of course, the worldwide color of Communism.

Communism is, of course, the incessantly failed governmental, societal and cultural system – that has thus far murdered more than 100 million people.

Oh: And after Adolf Hitler left the Communist Party and took over the Nazi (National Socialist) Party, he chose a red logo background – to serve as an invitation to the fellow-huge-government Communists he left behind.

Oh: And please do not let anyone con anyone that Socialism and Communism are fundamentally different. The former is an evolutionary stage – on the way to the inevitable latter. Communism – is Socialism…with a boot stamping on a human face.

And the Communist boot stamping on a human face is nigh always necessary – because the people subjected to Socialism very quickly realize…Socialism is terrible. So to keep the rabble in check – the boots must be emplaced upon faces.

In the United States, our two political Parties are the (allegedly) less government Republicans and the ever-more-government Democrats. And for a long while – the colors representing the Parties were accurate. The Democrats were red – and the GOP blue.

The Leftist media finally realized the Democrats’ red was a little too on the nose – and without explanation…switched the respective colors.

And it has been ever since thus.

But as the Democrat Party has hurtled ever-Leftward – their desire to hide their Communism has waned. When once concerned about being associated even with Communism’s color – they now openly embrace full-on Communism and Communists. Including its founder.

How far to the Left has the Left dragged our national political fulcrum (and thereby the GOP with them)?

I’d take 1960 Democrat Senator-cum-President John F. Kennedy – over (at least) 3/4 of today’s sitting GOP Senators. Today’s Democrats – would have decades ago expelled him from their midst.

How far – how fast – have the Democrats hurtled Leftward? In 2000, the Democrat Party’s Vice Presidential candidate was Joe Lieberman. in 2008 – they kicked Lieberman out of their Party.

In the 2016 Democrat presidential primary, Hillary Clinton was considered the moderate alternative to Soviet-Union-honeymooning avowed-Socialist Bernie Sanders. When they served together in the Senate – Clinton was all of 0.1% less Left than Sanders.

Avowed Communists are now prominent members of the Democrat Party and the media (please pardon the redundancy). And in many instances – first one, then the other.

The current co-Charirman of the Democrat National Committee – and former Barack Obama Administration Labor Secretary – is avowed Marxist Tom Perez.

Former Obama Administration Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director – and current President-Donald-Trump-perjury-committing-tormentor – is Communist Party-voting John Brennan.

Former Obama Administration “green” “jobs” Czar – and current CNN host – is avowed Marxist Van Jones.

Former Obama Administration Communications Director – and current CNN talking head – is Communist Mao-admiring Anita Dunn.

Heck – the Obama White House Christmas tree…had a Mao ornament adorning it.

We could go on, and on, and on, and….

Let us now look at the domestic Democrat-Marxists looking to stifle free speech – and its current Xanadu, the Internet.

The Obama Administration’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC) created the position of Chief Diversity Officer – and hired as its first occupant…Hugo-Chavez-loving Mark Lloyd.

You know, because the now-deceased Communist Chavez was so very good for free speech (and everything else) in Venezuela.

You know, the place where they are now so famished they are hunting dogs, cats and pigeons.

How did Lloyd describe the Chavez revolution – that has delivered such spectacular pet-purging results?:

“In Venezuela, with Chavez, you’re looking at an incredible revolution. A democratic revolution. To begin to put in place the things that will have an impact on the people of Venezuela.”

And what an impact they have had.

(Oh: And Sanders was very much for Chavez and Venezuela – before he lamely claimed to be against it.)

And how did Chavez handle communications?

And Venezuela’s censorship has continued since Chavez’s death – because Communism has continued since Chavez’s death. Including, of course, on the Internet.

And all of this is the “incredible…democratic revolution” – is what Obama-official-Lloyd admired. This sort of mass censorship – is a part of what Lloyd loved as “put(ting) in place the things that will have an impact on the people of Venezuela.” Indeed it all did – and has.

Oh – and Lloyd also thinks….

Well that’s certainly pleasant. Thank goodness Obama created a position for this guy.

And where, pray tell, did Lloyd land after leaving the Obama Administration? Why, at the very Left New America Foundation – as the Director of its Media Policy Initiative.

And what, pray tell, is the media policy the New America Foundation seeks to impose on the Internet? Of course – they are all gung ho for the all-encompassing-government Internet power grab that is Net Neutrality.

And what does Lloyd his own self have to say about Net Neutrality?

Net Neutrality Is a Civil Rights Issue

Net Neutrality “is a civil rights issue?” Sure it is. So is Venezuelans eating pigeons – which is the equivalent of what Net Neutrality will digitally do to the Internet.

Another Left group pushing this Internet Communism? Free Press. Co-founded by…avowed Communist Robert McChesney.

McChesney is a treasure trove of Left nostrums. But a small sampling:

“Any serious effort to reform the media system would have to necessarily be part of a revolutionary program to overthrow the capitalist system itself.”

“There is no real answer but to remove brick by brick the capitalist system itself, rebuilding the entire society on socialist principles.”

“At the moment, the battle over network neutrality is not to completely eliminate the telephone and cable companies. We are not at that point yet. But the ultimate goal is to get rid of the media capitalists in the phone and cable companies and to divest them from control.”

Get that last one? Much like the (inordinately short) march from Socialism to Communism – Net Neutrality is a series of steps Leftward.

With “the ultimate goal…(of) get(ting) rid of the media capitalists in the phone and cable companies and to divest them from control.”

In other words – ultimate, full Communism…on the Internet.

It is against this Internet Communism We the Sane have been fighting for more than a decade.

And to demonstrate just how far Left the Democrat Party has descended:

‘Red Alert’ Protest for Net Neutrality Starts May 9: “Websites are planning public protests as the Senate prepares to vote on a resolution to overturn the FCC’s rollback of net neutrality rules.”

Oh look – Democrats are again embracing the color red. Well, sort of.

There are 49 Democrat Senators. How many are embracing this attempt to reimpose Internet Communism?

Why any Republican anywhere would consider for even a second joining with them…is light years beyond me.
