Mike Huckabee calls for better treatment of Latinos
LITTLE ROCK. – Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said that the United States should treat the Latin American immigrants better and not repeat the errors of segregation and discrimination that were committed with the black community 150 years ago, beginning with enslaving them. Huckabee who leaves office January 9 after 10 years and is thinking about the possibility of running for U.S president in 2008, said that the citizens of Arkansas have progressed in the racial justice and that now they have the opportunity of acting correctly in the form of how they treat the growing Latin American population of Arkansas.
