Arkansas Freedom to Farm Act HB1761
by Jane Williams, AR Animal Producer's Assoc: The ARAPA is a group of ranchers, farmers and concerned individuals working against the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) in our effort to hold onto the Constitutional freedoms and rights to private property (our animals) and to protect the lifestyles of traditional farming and animal owners.
The right to continue to rear and market plants and animals in the traditional manner that has served us so well for hundreds of years hinges on passage of The Freedom to Farm Act HB1761which was filed by Roy Ragland (R). It has been referred to the House Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, and Economic Development. The ARAPA stresses that even if you do not own animals or plant a garden, you please support this bill so that those of us who do produce food can continue to do so without excessive costs and regulations that will put many of us out of business. The bill is anticipated to be before the committee on March 14th. We have 12 family members that live on our little 35 acre homestead, and we are all thanking God that the Arkansas Animal Producer's Association got this bill in! Now if all Arkansans will do their part, and call and write their congressmen so this bill can get voted through the House and beyond! Not only does the NAIS need to be stopped in its tracks, but any future unconstitutional anti-private property nonsense like this, and the Freedom to Farm Act will protect us from all of them on down the road. That's why we HAVE to have this bill become law. You know the powers that be are not going to stop with the NAIS - they will come back with something else and it will be even worse, guaranteed! If we treasure our sovereign American private property rights, we must support this bill with a fury.
It's a sad commentary on our present state of affairs tht this bill should even be considered necessary. What happened to the constitutional republic the founding fathers gave us? As is, this bill is a move against the nanny state they're trying to put us in. We need to do whatever is needed to get it passed.
I agree with Mr. Ahrens except the latter part. If have to use these means, we are ALREADY in the Nanny State.
To be sure, once you implement a bill such as this, you have set a legal precedent by the act of acceptance that contractually negates your Constitutional RIGHTS for such. That's why the 'fight' MUST be against the premise of such ever even starting. I sent this out to my list below recently on this very Bill. And yes, I live in Marshall Mr. Ragland.
Thanks ... Laurence
I just can't keep it quiet any longer. I got this email below forwarded to me from a friend, and well, it's just too much. I mean, what is it coming to? Have ANY of you considered what is happening in our Country, in the World? DO YOU EVEN SEE what is happening? Do you give a DAMN??
In reading this, as so MUCH other such Bull that is happening in front of our eyes at ever increasing rates, it just seems like George Orwell's 'Newspeak' has become a reality to me.
What is it coming to in this once free America when we have to "petition" government to allow us, the People, to feed ourselves? What has happened to us? What IS happening to us?
None of this is anything that should even have to be debated at all! This is AMERICA! The Constitution for the united States of America GUARANTEES these RIGHTS, it does not grant them. They are OURS by Birthright! Or do ANY of you politicians holding Office right now, supposedly Representing "US", not believe or agree with that? If you don't, then I think you need to publicly declare that fact, OR ELSE get on about the business of actually DOING what you took an Oath to DO.
I'll tell you what the problem is people. It's the very same thing it has always been. Now, I'm not real religious or anything, but Truth is Truth from whatever source. And I have to say one thing, we have had an unequivocal declaration of the basis of ALL of our problems in the simple scripture "For the love of money is the root of all Evil". That pretty clearly states that wherever we look and see problems that can't seem to be remedied, any form of 'evil', then you can be pretty certain that MONEY is at the root of it all.
There's another saying about if you want to find out who is at the root of anything clearly wrong or bad, well you just "follow the Money Trail". Ahh, back to that 'root' 'money' issue again.
Yet for all of the simple logic and truth behind this, it is NEVER dealt with. Well, I've studied this issue now for MANY years, and guess what? It is just that real AND simple.
You will NEVER make any difference by petitioning a conveniently DEAF body of Authority so long as they control the purse strings. And so long as you elected politicians betray the People by your pacts with the FED for it's handouts, you support a Government NOT dependent on the People, as it is supposed to be. By bypassing the proper revenue producing methods allotted to government, you steal from the People, because NO POWER has ANY money to offer to the state otherwise, except what it derives from the People through fraudulent Money Power.
There is only ONE way to EVER get this Beast back under control. That is to get the Money System out of the Control of the FED and the Gov. and into the control of the hands of the Common people. Yeah, yeah, I know, you say that would never work. HOW DO YOU KNOW? It's never been done! Who tells you it won't work? The Bankers? Well, I'm sure there's no conflict of interest there now?
There has GOT to be 'Separation of Money and State'!
There is a way, and it IS NOT too late, yet. There is one man in history that pegged it all nearly perfectly. His name was E. C. Riegel. As true a Patriot and Humanitarian in ideals as ever drew a breath, and one I put right up there with Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson. But you probably have never even heard of him. I wonder why?
The CAUSE of all of our problems is our Political Money System in bed with the Bank Cartel and their usury-based Debt System. It's very essence MANDATES the eventual escalation to fiscal chaos and destruction of liberty. There can be no other result, no matter how sincerely you may want it to be. You want to ever change that trend? Then you MUST treat the Cause, NOT the symptoms.
