U.S. House may act within weeks to restrict "grassroots lobbying" and right to communicate with federal officials
National Right to Life: The U.S. House of Representatives may act within weeks on legislation that would restrict so-called "grassroots lobbying," and also on legislation that would restrict the right of private citizens to communicate with officials of the federal Executive Branch. Please communicate immediately with your representative in the U.S. House in opposition to restrictions on "grassroots lobbying" and in opposition to the Waxman-Davis "Executive Branch Reform Act" (H.R. 984). For essential details on what is happening, and to access easy-to-use tools to transmit appropriate e-mails and phone calls on these bills, go to the NRLC Legislative Action Center here . . .
