Tax Day this year is April 17 -- Join in Writing American History
Are you fed up with a convoluted tax code that even the IRS can't understand. Unfortunately, we can't count on our elected leaders to take on real tax reform just because it's the right thing to do. If you believe a change is needed then consider joining a grassroots effort to demonstrate overwhelming support for the FairTax. Everyone is invited!
Join in Writing American History: Any profound change in public policy requires citizen involvement. Only then will citizen's force a change on those Members of Congress unwilling to give up the power and the political advantages of control over federal taxes. The FairTax Plan is a nonpartisan national grassroots campaign to replace the federal income tax system with a progressive national retail sales tax. It provides a "prebate" to ensure no American pays federal taxes on spending up to the poverty level, dollar-for-dollar federal revenue replacement and, through companion legislation, repeal of the 16th Amendment.
