Lincoln & Pryor Against Honest Elections?
Last night both Arkansas' US Senators Pryor and Lincoln voted to kill an amendment to the Help America Vote Act of 2002 to require individuals voting in person to present photo identification.
Just to recap:
Things you need a photo id for:
Drive a car
Purchase alcohol and tobacco products
Rent a video
Things Lincoln & Pryor don’t think you need a photo id for:
Voting – that’s right they don’t believe it is important to ensure that American citizens, and only American citizens, are allowed to vote (the most important, fundamental right in a Democracy) for elected officials.
It appears Pryor and Lincoln are more worried that video stores can accurately assess late fees than ensuring honest and accurate elections. Lincoln is not up for reelection but Pryor will be. What is Pryor thinking? Hem - sure wasn't about protecting the rights of legal voters!

Some times it is difficult to tell if Mark Pryor thinks at all.
