Arkansas Senators Vote Against Free Speech
ARRA Comment: It’s official, last night when given the opportunity to stand up for the First Amendment and free speech, Senate Democrats rose in near unison (one yea) to clearly say they oppose free speech rights for American broadcasters. By a 49-48 vote (3/5 required to pass) the Democrat-led Senate voted against considering Sen. Norm Coleman’s (R-MN) Amendment aimed at guaranteeing free speech protections.
Among the 48 Democrats voting against free speech protection for Americans were Arkansas' two Senators Pryor (D) and Lincoln (D). The Senators running for president voted as follows:For Free Speech: Senator McCain (R) Against Free Speech: Democrat Senators. Biden, Clintod & Dodd Not Voting: Senators Brownback (R) & Obama (D) Also see:News Story By Kara Rowland, The Washinton Times Tags:Blanche Lincoln, fairness doctrine, free speech, Mark Pryor, US Senate
Both Pryor and Lincoln also opposed the "John Doe Amendment" that would protect the public from being sued for reporting suspicious behavior that may lead to a terrorist attack.

Both Pryor and Lincoln also opposed the "John Doe Amendment" that would protect the public from being sued for reporting suspicious behavior that may lead to a terrorist attack.
Both also opposed voter IDs.
