Former ACLU Chief Eexcutive Pleads Guilty & Gets 8 Years for "Graphic & Violent" Child Porn
We missed reporting on this this last month while keeping up on political races and immigration legislation. Charles Rust-Tierney who argued against Internet filters on public library computers nearly ten years ago and is now the former executive for the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia has been sentenced to eight years in prison after he admitted having "graphic and violent" child pornography. The guilty plea was entered in court in Virginia by Charles Rust-Tierney, where he was immediately sentenced for owning some of the most “graphic and violent” child pornography the judge had ever seen. Rust-Tierney also coached a youth league in the area. He served as president of the Virginia ACLU and was on its board until his arrest.
