Call Your Senators to Confirm Judge Leslie Southwick
The nomination of Judge Leslie Southwick for the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals is now before the United States Senate. Judge Southwick was nominated by the President in January of this year to fill a seat that has been vacant since the end of 2004. Judge Southwick is a supremely qualified jurist and an American patriot who served as an active Army officer in Iraq for almost two years, but still some radical liberals in the Senate wish to block his nomination for petty political reasons. The installation of good judges is the single most critical component of curbing judicial activism. Call your senator and tell them that you want him or her to confirm this excellent judge.
