Compare These Vote Lists - What's the Real Democrat Agenda?
Update for Arkansans: Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) signed the letter. However, Sen. Mark Pryor (D-AR) did NOT sign the letter condemning Rush Limbaug but he did condemn MoveOn for their General Petraeus ad. We commend Sen. Mark Pryor. The Daily Background has an update on Who signed Harry Reid's letter condemning Limbaugh letter and who didn’t? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Dan Riehl at Riehl World View presents an interesting comparison of two vote lists:
Michelle Malkin lists the Dems condemning Rush Limbaugh.
TPM's list of Dems condemned the General Betray Us ad.
Riehl noted the following Democrats Senators who took the time to condemn Rush Limbaugh on trumped up charges but couldn't be bothered to condemn the now infamous General Betray Us ad. He asks, "Where was their outrage when the current commanding General in Iraq was having his integrity impugned and why should we believe they are now standing up for the troops, when they couldn't even bother to stand up for the man leading them just a week or two ago?"
Senator Harry Reid, Majority Leader
Senator Richard Durbin, Assistant Majority Leader
Senator Charles Schumer, Vice Chairman, Democratic Conference
Senator Patty Murray, Secretary, Democratic Conference
Senator Daniel Akaka
Senator Joseph Biden [Dem. Candidate for President]
Senator Barbara Boxer
Senator Sherrod Brown
Senator Robert Byrd
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton [Dem. Candidate for President]
Senator Christopher Dodd [Dem. Candidate for President]
Senator Tom Harkin
Senator Daniel Inouye
Senator Edward M. Kennedy [Former Dem. Candidate for President]
Senator John Kerry [Former Dem. Candidate for President]
Senator Frank Lautenberg
Senator Carl Levin
Senator Bob Menendez
Senator Barack Obama [Dem. Candidate for President]
Senator Jack Reed
Senator Jay Rockefeller
Senator Bernie Sanders
Senator Debbie Stabenow
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse
Senator Ron Wyden
The Agenda: The dems fear Rush Limbaugh's speaking out for truth! One man -- free speech! Ditto Rush! Michelle Malkin maintains the vote on Rush is a backdoor restoration of the Fairness Doctrine. She identifies that The Hill underscores her point. In regard to the Moveon.org ad condemning General David Petraeus, these dems showed their contempt for authority and integrity. They would rather score points discounting and demeaning the word of the US Military Commander in the field. They do not understand "Duty, Honor, Country." Harry Reid - their leader even declared the "War is Lost" immediately after confirming General Petraeus. In pursuing their agenda to create a world in their desired image, they don't let truth or facts stand in the way of their desired paradigm. They will discredit, demean, discount, destroy, deceive, deny, etc. to achieve their goals.

Fred Thompson just said this:
"Congressional Democrats are trying to divert attention from insulting our military leader in Iraq and pandering to the loony left by attacking Rush Limbaugh. He is one of the strongest supporters of our troops, yet Democrats claim he is not being strong enough. I wonder who General Petraeus and his troops think is most supportive?"
