Congress’s deficit spending has become a moral issue
ARRA Editor: Sen. Tom Coburn is also a physician and while quoted by the Hill reporter as stressing the importance of deficit spending as a moral issue, Dr. Coburn is not stating that abortion is not a major issue. Coburn is pro-life and has a 100% rating for 2005-2006 by the National Right to Life Committee. Mike Soraghan in The Hillreports on Sen. Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) said Congress’s deficit spending has become a moral issue surpassing abortion because it saddles future generations with massive debt before they’re born.
