Conservative Activist Donald Wildmon Endorses Mike Huckabee
American Family Association (AFA) chairman Donald Wildmon has endorsed former governor Mike Huckabee saying that Huckabee "understands the needs of our country and has the ability to lead us in meeting those needs." The endorsement is a persaonal one and not an endorsement by the AFA.
Wildmon is the founder of the AFA and a retired United Methodist minister in Tupelo, Miss. AFA is a pro-family advocacy group and has been active in standing for the protection of children and the family. Afa claims 3,286,290 supporters on their website. AFA has lead boycotts and protests against corporations that sponsor too much sex or violence on television and in magazines. Wildmon also has criticized the National Endowment for the Arts for using federal money to promote what he considers offensive or anti-Christian artwork and Wal-Mart, Corp and the Ford Motor Company for sponsoring the homosexual agenda.
