CNN Iowa PSA: Vote Huckabee or Die?
CNN provides an interesting opportunity for Mike Huckabee to push for votes using dead pheasants as an illustration: "These three birds said they would not vote for me on caucus night. See what happened to them? . . . You vote for me, you live -- hum - there you go!" |

You have to love Mike Huckabee's awful humor! This is proof positive that he is a real guy, representing main street. No way Clinton or Romney types would say anything like that... it would not be calculated as a good PR move.
And that is the stark contrast... do we want someone who is fake and calculated at every turn, with their true intentions never really known, but behind closed doors? Or do we want someone who is not afraid to admit mistakes, say the wrong thing sometimes, and tell it like it is... honest, open, and real...
I admit, Mike and I don't agree on some issues, but I would rather support a positive candidate able to laugh at himself, over a calculated political machine any day of the week!
Dear website owners, bloggers and web users,
Please vote in the AOL online poll "Vote Your Pick for President"
http://news.aol.com/political-machine/2007/12/21/straw-poll-dec-21-jan-4/?ncid=NWS00010000000001
The voting is "spam-proofed" -- only one vote is allowed per IP address.
The poll is getting enormous participation now from across the country and is possibly a more reliable indicator of each candidates' real popularity when contrasted with what is being reported in the traditional media. The poll is active until 04 January 2008. This precludes hijacking by any particular interest group or organization because it permits time for ALL groups and organizations to get the word out to its membership.
Please consider posting the poll web address (above) at your site or pass the poll address along to friends and contacts -- Republican, Democrat and Independent -- and ask them to participate as well. The more people who vote the better the reliability of the results.
Thank You for your time and consideration.
Jonny
