Anonymous,
We too were Fred Thompson supporters. Unfortunately, he did not enter early enough or fair well in his campaign< Fred Thompson endorsed Sen. John McCain. Many of us still backed a second choice, Mitt Romney. However, he too has left the race and endorsed John McCain.
Now that the presumptive candidate is John McCain, we must ask do we want one of the following progressive liberals: Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama leading the U.S. further to the left with big government and restrictions on freedoms and rights?
Since you prefer a liberal over a pro-life, national defense conservative, then I cannot really believe you were a Fred Thompson supporter like the rest of us who worked for his campaign.
