Is Minnesota Going Socialist?
Bill Smith, ARRA Editor: ARRA News' contacts in Minnesota have expressed concern that some parts of the Republican party may be co-opted or at least influenced by the socialist agenda thus reducing the barriers to the the state's left movement. Based on these expressions of concern, we noted the following recent news stories which support the frustration by conservatives in Minnesota, And if you don't believe their is a socialist agenda, we included a link to the Minnesota Socialist website. No wonder Minnesota can boast Leftest tax-cheat Al Frankin running for U.S. Senate with at last check 42% of Minnesotans ( 67% of Democrats) supporting him.'Gay' indoctrination starts in Minneapolis - "A special interest program assembled by the Human Rights Campaign to promote homosexuality has been launched in the 91-school Minneapolis district, even as opponents are urging school officials to keep sexuality out of the social culture. 'The government should promote and encourage strong families," said Austin R. Nimocks, a senior counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund. "When school officials have to choose between protecting children in those families or furthering the homosexual agenda, the choice is obvious: protecting our children comes first.' . . ."
Minnesota House approves bill promoting taxpayer funding of human cloning - "The Minnesota House approved a measure on Wednesday that concerns pro-life advocates because it funds human cloning and the killing of human embryos at the University of Minnesota. In what a leading pro-life group called a "heartless act of disregard for human life" the House backed the bill 71-62.The House voted for the Kahn--Cohen Cloning Bill, SF 100, that would force taxpayers to fund destructive research. . . . "

Minnesota has been the Den of the Socialist Beast for some time. The Socialist Nonpartisan League that my great grandfather brought to its knees spawned out of Minnesota.
Living here in Minnesota, Socialism is pretty much drilled into the generations of Minnesotan's that call this state their home. It sometimes really shocks me. I am from North Dakota and the old joke was the a North Dakota Democrat was a Minnesota Republican. I am finding out by experience that this is often true as it may be with many states.
How do we defeat these so radical and preying on our children? I think I know just inherently and from what I know of the IVA my great grandfather founded and served as President.
It is just going to take some time to develop and organize and we are at a capital and time disadvantage.

No Workfare or prison labor, guaranteed training and a job for all.

A 30 hour work week without loss of pay.

Major investment in a cheap, accessible, integrated, safe, publiclyowned transportation system that meets the needs of people and the environment.

Scrap antiunion laws. Trade unions to be democratically controlled by their members. Full time union officials should be elected and receive the wage of an average worker. Unions to break with the parties of the bosses and campaign to build a mass Workers’ Party.

Solidarity with the struggles of workers in other countries; an injury to one is an injury to all.

Take into public ownership, under democratic working class control and management, the top 500 corporations, banks, insurance and finance houses that dominate the economy. Compensation to be paid on the basis of proven need. An end to the rule of profit, for a socialist society to meet the needs of all.
