Senator John McCain speaks in Northwest Arkansas
KFSM TV5: The presumptive Republican nominee for the 2008 presidency, John McCain, made a stop in Northwest Arkansas Friday evening, on his journey toward the White House. Because most of the state, outside Northwest Arkansas, has become largely Democratic, McCain said this stop was important, because it fires the Republican grassroots, in a state that could swing either way, this November. After John McCain's speech during a benefit dinner in Northwest Arkansas, supporters like U.S. Congressman John Boozman say he hopes to win the presidency through strategic stumping, in a swing state. "I think we've got a great chance of winning Arkansas. He rallied the troops, and so now the job is to go out and get a lot of support for the future president, Senator McCain." . . . But "Country First" is McCain's campaign slogan, and he says passing an energy bill, is a big reason why voters ought to put him first, this November. "We need to address this issue in a comprehensive fashion that addresses all of those issues such as wind, tide, solar, nuclear, and all other aspects of the energy issue. Americans want action; they don't want Congress to take vacations." [Senator John McCain speaks to supporters in Northwest Arkansas]

Would like to have the full text or the full story of all Sen. McCain said that night. Wasn't that the night he may have been reported to have said that people earning under 80,000 a year were too stupid to understand taxes?
Where's the video of the evening, curious people want to know.
Let me know if you find a video. Maybe one is availbable from a local TV station.
If such a gaff as you alleged had been said, it would have been all over the liberal network news.
