Voight plays Washington, slams anti-American films
Washington Times — It's colossal, it's stupendous. In exactly five days, Jon Voight will become the ghost of George Washington, leading a forward attack on those who would sully America. "An American Carol," a frantic satire that takes on filmmaker Michael Moore, Rosie O'Donnell and a host of liberals, opens Oct. 3. And Mr. Voight, indeed, plays the first president of the United States in white wig and sleek Colonial uniform, taking the Moore-inspired character to task for his lack of patriotism, his paucity of Yankee vim. It is a very Scrooge-ian exchange. . . . [More by Jennifer Harper on "An American Carol"] See also: Hollywood takes on the left & An American Carol - review by ARRA editor

I LOVED THIS MOVIE WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
Great 21st century interpretation of Charles Dickens classic
It was hysterical! I imagine there will be some issues with anti-Arab league, since the world is full of whiners these days. Nevertheless, the depiction of the terrorist was humorous, to say the least. Robert Davi [lead FBI agent in Die Hard] does a fantastic job as the leader of the terrorist, as do his two accomplices. Farley is great as Michael Malone (character based on Michael Moore).
The movie does an excellent job of driving home a few key points:
1. Michael Moore hates America, yet continues to exploit her
2. Michael Moore is not a real film-maker, but a documentary maker and a liar
3. Most Americans don't buy into his crap
The fact that Conservatives decided to thumb their nose at Hollyweird was dare I say...refreshing!
