Arkansas Proposed “Open Checkbook Bill” - HB1053

Arkansas State Representative Dan Greenberg. Rep. Greenberg discussed the “Open Checkbook Bill” - HB1053 - which he filed today along with several other bills dealing with government transparency. The bill if passed putting all the state’s expenses on an online searchable database. Rep. Greenberg visits with Jason Tolbert in a The Tolbert Report video.

Dan Greenberg is a great guy. I got to know him a little when he and I both taught at the Arkansas Governor's School in 2006.

I'll contact my representatives and ask them to support this bill.
