More than a week after an ice storm killed 55 and left hundreds of thousands without power, FEMA (now under the direction of President Barack Obama) is responding to the victims in Kentucky and Arkansas. Never quote bloggers as news sources. AP and other news agencies have reported FEMA has been there since the two days after.

Flavor County: Hate to tell you this but FEMA was not here! It took them over a week to decide to get involved. The Arkansas Governor didn't even respond for five days. Fema and government agencies can put anything they wish on their website after the fact.
Also, they are not even offering assistance other than potential reibursement to government and nonprofit agencies but no assistance to property owners!
I was referring to Kentucky not Arkansas. Not sure when a state of emergency was declared there.
I am not one of those who blamed Bush for Katrina. It's wasn't Bush's FEMA no more than it is Obama's now. It's all government bullshit.
I have family in Kentucky so I know what the response was there. Hope you guys are getting back on your feet. God Bless
