Helen Thomas accused the White House of "controlling the press." She said almost all White House/Obama events are "prepackaged." She accused the White House of not "having any answers." She identified that the press is called the night before regarding the asking of questions. |

Speaking of transparency, what is behind DEMOCRATIC SENATOR BLANCHE LINCOLN and her mystifying LACK OF SUPPORT for a public option in health reform. It is probably the fact that she received over $1 million in campaign contributions from health insurance companies and private hospitals. Let her know she NEEDS to support REAL HEALTH REFORM if she wants your vote in 2010. Without a strong public option to keep the health insurance industry honest, a health bill would be pointless.
