Specter & Sebelius Booed at Philly Obamacare Townhall
From a report filed by Andrew Monaghan, we can see that Philadelphians made it clear to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius that she is "not in Kansas anymore" trying to tout a program which has not yet been voted on by the House or Senate. And as to their resident Democrat convert, ex-Rhino, Sen. Arlen Specter, it is even clear to the the Democrats that Specter sold his soul in hopes of being re-elected. He is supporting a nationalized health care program under which he is very fortunate to NOT be covered under for his medical condition. If Specter like everyone else were covered under the Obamacare option, Specter would have been given a few placebo pills and would be Soylent Green material or six feet under.

H/T Andrew Monaghan at Panzramic for the following: Close to 1,000 people showed up for Arlen Specter and Kathleen Sebelius' Obamacare Town Hall. ACORN and SEIU had their drones there. ACORN continues to embarrass itself by exploiting amputees and handicapped people to further their cause. It was actually very sad to see because you felt bad for them because of their misfortune and you also felt bad for them because they were totally unaware that they were merely props for ACORN to exploit.
Sebilius and Specter offered no answers. How can you sell a product when you don't even know what it is? Sebelius defended herself by saying that she wasn't a "member of congress". Last I checked she was head of Health and Human Services, she might want to bone up on the legislation.
We learned nothing new from these two people, aside from Arlen Specter coming out in support of a single payer insurance program funded by taxpayers. Mr. Specter is increasingly desperate. Pat Toomey has pulled even with him in the polls, and Mr. Specter is trying to gain the support of the far left by supporting single payer health care. He also had a Biden-esque gaffe when he expressed support for passing this as quickly as possible. The crowd exploded. Videos follow:

What a surprise ! Will specter come back to the republicans now that hes scared.
Just linked to your post Bill. I hope our Reps and Sens see this kind of response in AR...if they show their faces this month.
Oh no......its the insurance comapnies fault. The insurance companies are behind all this revolt because they want to make money on the backs of the United States citizens.
I do not want gov run healthcare. I am retired from the military and have to deal with government run healthcare and it is lacking in so many ways. I won't even start on the VA system or Medicare. When the government runs one system right maybe I will support another. I cannot think of any program the government runs that works or meets budget.
He doesn't care.
I think they should start with:
- tort reform
- clean up the fraud from Medicare, Medicaid, welfare and all social programs
- deport all illegals, they drain our social programs and take jobs from US Citizens
Then we can debate Health Care Reform
Plus - who is going to pay for Health Care Reform?
Our taxes will prob be going up and up who knows???
