Congress Returns - Review of Obama's Plan for Single-Payer Nationalized Healthcare
Here is Obama describing how he wants to move to a single payer health care system. Why isn't this all over every news channel? Well, we think you're sharp enough to know the answer to that.
Here's the lengthier clip of Obama's speech to the AFL-CIO. Even more frightening than the soundbites above.
Obama claims that the public option for health insurance would simply provide competition for private health insurance companies, like the U.S. Post Office competes with FedEx and UPS. Nothing to be concerned about. Don't buy it. It's a transitional vehicle to a single payer system. Not convinced? Watch Obama's foot soldiers lay out the strategy.
Here's Obama, the candidate, trying to dodge the hypocracy by claiming to not be able to hear the speech excerpt. Give me a break!
This is the full clip of Barney Frank admitting that the public health insurance option is simply a vehicle for getting to a single payer system. At least he's honest about it.
Here's Barney Frank talking down to a room full of constituents whom he is above. Can you spell E-L-I-T-I-S-T?
How do you insure 50 million more people for less than it costs today?
A) Take money out of the Medicare system, leaving senior citizens with less care, fewer options, and a government panel deciding their fates. B) It can't be done. C) Both A and B. [DING DING DING! Correct answer.]
