Rumblings on China's National Flag and the White House

Fox News also pointed out that "demonstrations by foreign groups on the Ellipse or in Lafayette Park, in front of the White House, are not uncommon." But the flying of this flag is not a demonstration. the flying of the flag was to be a ceremony "to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of PRC." Celebration of 60 years of oppression by the PRC who just happens to also have nuclear warheads on missiles pointed at the U.S. seems rather inappropriate.
It does not matter if the flag is inside the White House grounds or outside the White house grounds on the Ellipse, the Chinese will use this as a propaganda tool. In fact with all the borrowing by the Obama administration from China, this may be one of many future steps of China thumbing their nose at America. Chen Ronghua, chairman of Fujian Association of the United States, told reporters that their application was approved not only because of the sound Sino-US relations but also because China is a "responsible" country.
The Fox News report also hinted at the complexity that the Chinese will go to for propaganda purposes when reporting about this event. Fox News identified,

The national flag of the People's Republic of China (PRC) will be hoisted at the South Lawn of the White House in Washington on September 20, media reported Sunday. Chinese associations in the United States had applied to hold a ceremony in front of the US President’s residence to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of PRC.Then Fox News attempted to debunk this story by stating:
A ceremony, indeed, will take place. But it won't happen on the White House grounds -- rather, on the Ellipse, on the other side of E Street from the presidential residence. The White House on Friday dismissed as inaccurate reports from China that the administration will mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic by flying the Chinese flag on the South Lawn.It is understood that a foreign flag may be flown at the White house when a visiting head of state from another country visits the President of the United States at the White house. It is also understood that China may fly its flag at their Chinese Embassy. However, it is inappropriate for the White House or any other Obama administration agency to have given permission for the Chinese flag to be flown at any other location including on the Ellipse, on the other side of E Street from the presidential residence. This flag represents a Communist nation that has murdered millions of its own people in an effort to stifle democracy in their own country.
China Daily, citing other media reports, claimed the president of the Fujian Association of the United States had been granted permission to hoist the flag "in a ceremony in front of the President's residence."

"In fact the current controversy is reminiscent of that visit. The Chinese insisted it was a state visit, despite U.S. assurances it was only an official one. The "state visit" label would have implied a bigger honor to Hu and to China, but Bush only had a handful of state visits and Hu's wasn't one of them.This provocative flag situation is because Americas voted for a weak inexperienced president who is now being tested by the country with whom the Obama administration has over-indebted our nation. Has anyone noticed that China has not offered to intervened to stop their neighbor North Korea from developing, proliferating and using nuclear weapons? Conclusion: no associations or delegations needed to have applied to fly the Chinese flag anywhere in Washington, D.C. outside of their own embassy. And if they did apply, the answer should have been NO! With the present situation, will the Obama administration roll over, as expected, on this issue and give the Chinese another propaganda story for their newspapers back home?
Still, Chinese media continued to report it was a state visit even after it was over. And they continue now to report that the Fujian Association rally will take place on the White House lawn, even though U.S. officials insist it will not."

I have always thought it was a disgrace that China has " Favored nation status"! They torture Christians and the like. They are worse than USSR ever was. Its a financial thing. The US lets money dictate what we call right and wrong!
This poser Obama has bowed to a foreign sovereign, fist bumped a socialist dictator, apologized for America's existence. Allowing any other country's flag to be officially flown is an indicator of not only naïveté but of treason. It is more evidence that this Administration is bought and paid for.
Wait, lets call a spade a spade.....We called the USSR an "Evil Empire" but CHina is much more evil than they were. Let's be honest...The only reason President Bush did not call China an "Evil Empire" was because they benefit us financially.It is Shameful how we are letting money dictate our morality. I am not mentioning Obama here because he is much too easy of a target. I was very disappointed in Bush about this.We need to stand up against China like we did against the USSR.
Paul, I agree with your comments in general and your last statement specifically. But the difference in these days is that China tested Bush globally but China is testing Obama on our own soil. Things like flying a flag on US. Federal property, meeting a former president, etc., mean a lot more to Asians than we can being to fathom in the U.S. I wonder if Sec of State Clinton was asked first. She could have had her career Asian experts explain the cultural differences. I lived in Asia for two years and in Europe for three years. In both situations, I learned to quickly adjust my words, voice reflections, manners and actions to conform to their culture n communication. Otherwise, the result was mis-communication and literal "loss of face." We are a powerful nation but on the world stage we are still considered the new kids on the block and the rest of the world may be impressed by what we have but they also resent our youthful arrogance and wealth.
I can't believe the audacity of these crooks. The un-American assault continues.
But then again the Chinese do own most of the US now. When I bought my house I didn't get the title. The bank has it until I pay back my loan. Perhaps this is China's way of telling us that they own title to our country now.

We now have solid confirmation that the communist government of China did in fact raise their flag above Washington, DC for the first time this past Sunday, September 20, 2009.
Here you can see the video of the Chinese communist flag being raised in Washington, DC with much fanfare and expense. It is being raised to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the communist takeover of China in 1949. In 1949, communist dictator Mao Zedong placed almost 1 billion people under the slavery of communism and forced American ally Chiang Kai-shek into exile in Taiwan.
The Communist Government of China then proceeded to engage in "comprehensive reforms" that led to the deaths of 36 million people due to oppression and famine.
The communist government of China provided extensive military support to the North Koreans and North Vietnamese in their military conflicts with the US that resulted in the deaths of approximately 100,000 American soldiers (1950-1974).
In 1989, the communist government of China slaughtered thousands of unarmed citizens in Tiananmen Square who were demanding an end to one party rule and the right to vote.
The communist government of China now owns a great deal of US debt and factions of their military threaten to launch a nuclear strike against the United States over possible conflicts involving our allies in Taiwan. They used to only be able to threaten to destroy the west coast of America, but due to the theft of our two stage missile technology, during the Clinton administration, China now has the nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons and delivery systems to attack every major city in the United States.
Chinese hackers are attacking major components of the US Military electronic infrastructure on almost a weekly basis now.
On the topic of immigration, China refuses to allow the return of over 40,000 illegal aliens currently under deportation order in the United States. So many Chinese illegal immigrants are now entering the US that the water stations placed in the desserts on the US border with Mexico now have instructions in English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese.
China has recently made demands of the Obama administration for more "assurances" that they will be repaid the over 1.4 Trillion dollars in debt Americans now owe. While we have not been able to ascertain what "assurances" the Obama administration is willing to offer, we do know that each American now owes communist China over $4,000 each including newborns and retirees!
Since America's politicians seem to be having trouble making decisions that are in the best interest of the American public these days, we thought you might want to see this video of America's communist military enemies raising their flag over our Capital with much celebration.
