Lincoln and Pryor Turn Deaf Ear to Arkansas Constituents
Little Rock, AR – In response to Senator Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor’s decision to vote for the motion to proceed with Senator Harry Reid’s health care bill, Americans for Prosperity Arkansas State Director Teresa Oelke stated, “Today Senator Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor chose to move Arkansans one step closer to government run health care, which has been soundly rejected by 64% of the citizens they represent.”
Over the past three days, drawing record crowds, Americans for Prosperity “Hands Off My Health Care” bus tour has visited with thousands of Arkansans who are angry and disappointed their representatives in Washington have turned a deaf ear to their concerns about a government takeover of health care.
“This bill raises taxes by nearly a half trillion dollars, cuts Medicare by nearly a half trillion dollars, and spends $2.5 trillion when fully implemented. It is the wrong prescription for health care reform and the wrong prescription for our economy. Every vote Senator Lincoln and Pryor lend to its passage, is a vote in support of government run health care,” said Oelke.

I will be working to get Blanche out of office. She could have stopped this right here tonight and she caved in. Bye Blanche. This legislation, if it passes, will crush the last life out of the economy. 2010 will be grey, bleak and miserable unless this gets stopped.
I WILL WORK TO GET HER OUT OF THERE, NOT JUST VOTE AGAINST HER. SHE REALLY BETRAYED WHAT THE PEOPLE TOLD HER THEY WANT.

That bell I keep hearing - is it the death toll for two political careers? It doesn't matter to me now, what either one of them do to "seem" to be on the conservative side - my choice is made to be of a radical NON supportive conservative. I'll campaign against them both (each in their own time) and promote the conservative candidate of my choice to replace them. I've had enough of the liberalism and constituent back stabbing I can handle for this lifetime.
Personally, I don't give a rat's behind what she THINKS Arkansans want. If she (and Pryor) would listen to the people of Arkansas they would know what we want and don't want...and what we want is what is best for Arkansas and the rest of the country - hands off our health care; no socialized medicine for us.

If Lincoln doesn't have the backbone to be the only democrat to listen to her constituents and stand up and say no, she doesn't need to be our Senator.

it's time the states enact their right to nullify federal law - 9th 10th amendments are not just window dressing. unfortunately, sen lincoln and her dependence on fed $ is all too common.
She makes me sick...don't know who she thought she was fooling, saying that she wasn't sure how she was going to vote. I can tell you right now how she will vote on the final bill, and it isn't how her constituents want her to vote, but what are we...just voters, nobody for her to listen too!

Blanche will be known as the senator that kept the bill alive and most responsible if it passes and it will definitely come back to haunt her.

I read that she had voted for it last night. For some reason I knew she would. She doesn't listen to her people. How many on here have emailed her and got a response back? I have never received a response. She will be gone in 2010!!
I have received one automated response, ages ago. I have sent countless emails, letters, and tried to make phone calls, no response, all falls on deaf ears, she has more than served her term limit!!! Countdown to 2010!!
Hope Arkansas can pull off her defeat next yr, she is one of many that must go.
