Wow..... A story does come to mind, though. A while back the Game & Fish decided that the deer population was getting too large. Did they increase tag limits? Nope. Did they humanly euthanize a certain number of the animals? Nope. Did they spend millions to relocate the deer to another location/state? Bingo! And what happened to the white tail deer that were "relocated?" They died off as they were not acclimated to their new environment. I see the same thing happening w/ these turtles.
