Most Voters Don’t Believe President’s Assertions About Economy
Rasmussen Reports: During his State-of-the-Union address Wednesday night, President Obama spoke about a deficit of trust between the American people and political leaders. New Rasmussen Reports polling on the president’s speech shows just how deep that trust deficit has become.
Obama declared that his administration has cut taxes for 95% of Americans.
53% of voters nationwide say it has not happened
26% are not sure
21% believe that this is true
Nearly half believe their taxes will go up
Obama asserted that “after two years of recession,the economy is growing again.
50% say it is false
35% believe that statement is true
Obama claimed that steps taken by his team are responsible for putting two million people to work “who would otherwise be unemployed.”

It's hard to understand how even 27% of those surveyed could believe that Obama has "created or saved" 2 million jobs. By every measure, job losses over the last year have been staggering. The U-3 measure (the "official" rate)of unemployment has increased from 7.1% to 10% in the last 12 months. The U-6 (unemployed plus marginally employed) has risen from 13.5% to 17.3%. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' employment-to-population ratio stands at 80.3% for men between 25 and 54, meaning that 1 in 5 men in that age group are out of work. That's the worst ratio in 62 years.
That anyone would take Obama's absurd claims seriously is a testament to what a poor job the mass media is doing.
This is encouraging. Especially after the SOTU. However, I think we ought to look for a lot more propaganda to come out soon.
You mean the little people don't believe this Harvard genius who knows what what is best for us. He also is going to explain the health care again so the little folks understand he is just taking care of us.

The Bizzaro President was once again on the campaign trail, positioning himself as if he was a Washington outsider.
Barack Obama did the exact opposite of Bill Clinton did after he lost control of the congress. Bill Clinton moved to the center which quieted the storm and he went on to have a fairly successful presidency.
The Bizzaro President stayed on his left leaning course of destruction, without a thought of Scott Brown victory over Martha Coakley in Massachusetts.
President Obama stated that his gang rescued the country from a possible depression with his stimulus bill and saved 2 million jobs as unemployment rose above 10%. Where does he get these figures?
