A TRILLION IS A THOUSAND BILLION
Before addressing the word TRILLION, let's look at the word BILLION.
The next time you hear someone uses the word 'billion' in a casual manner,
think about how you want the politicians spending YOUR grandchildren's tax money.
You and your children's taxes are paying the interest on the National Debt
Let's put the word BILLION into perspective.
A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were Living in the Stone Age.
A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
Pre-the Obama Administration, spending a billion dollars was only 8 hours and 20 minutes ago.
Remember when Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu (D) asked Congress for
250 BILLION DOLLARS to rebuild New Orleans.
Interesting number... What does it mean?
Well, If the Government had given Your money directly to the people:
Each of the 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman and child) gets $516,528.
Or, each one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans, your home gets $1,329,787.
Or, each family of four gets $2,066,012.
BUT THE GOVERNMENT GAVE IT TO THE GOVERNMENT
NOW THAT YOUR BRAIN IS NUMBED, CONSIDER THAT A TRILLION IS A THOUSAND BILLION
Congress was already overspending, but now they are doing so exponentially!
Now we spending a billion dollars about every 5 minutes.
The total INTEREST PAID on the National Debt since 1988 was $7,393 billion ($7.4 trillion).
The National Debt itself is projected to grow to $19,224 billion by the year 2019.
(That’s $19 trillion) And we have to pay the Interest while paying the cost of Government's operations
CONGRESS ARE YOU CRAZY?
There were very few taxes 100 years ago.
Our nation was the most prosperous in the world.
We had absolutely NO National Debt.
We had the largest middle class in the world.
What happened?
Greed, Corruption, Elitism, Liberalism, Socialism
Are American voters asleep at the switch? NOT ANY MORE! 2010 IS HERE! VOTE THE BUMS OUT

Few can grasp the meaing of a billion and a trillion thats truely beyond the pail. You put it as good as any in relating it to time. The problem I see down the road if we continue to print and spend money at todays rate is hyper-inflation, and again few realize what that means.
