Obama's Dog Gets Own Jet Plane For Vacation Trip
Bill Smith, Editor: Talk about a "Dog Perks." I bet a lot of those rolled democrat "blue dogs" would have liked at least a plane ride. I get upset with Pelosi's abusive use of government airfare. Now, our friend Warner Todd Huston gives me weekend heartburn by reporting about BO, the "first dog," getting his own jet flight and arriving before the Obama on vacations. I guess he wanted an early start marking the property. Doesn't The Morning Sentinel know that the the White House's waste of money shuttling the first dog around the country is "Top Secret." I wonder, what the code name for the"dog flight" was? Anyone that finds out please let me know - hey, even if you have a recommended codename, also let me know! But be nice to BO, he has his papers in order, just too young to take any oaths yet.

by Warner Todd Huston: The Morning Sentinel, a small paper from the state of Maine, has a travelogue story of the Obama's vacation in and about Maine today. It has a very interesting little tidbit in it that should enrage every American. It is something that really shows Barack Obama's arrogance and his obviously assumed air of noblesse oblige.
Among the exciting details of the Obama's visit to Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor is this tidbit:
Well, it must be nice to be able to afford to fly your doggie about the country whenever you feel like it. It must be nice to hire people to act as your dog's escort. It must be comforting to know that you have the power to arrange such luxury for a dog.
As America lurches toward depression our leader is wasting millions on constant vacationing -- 16 vehicles were used to drive the Obama's around North Carolina -- and affording his dog ...his dog... his owns special jet airplane.
Perhaps Barack Obama isn't like a king. Perhaps he's more like an emperor? An emperor like the fiddling Nero.

Arriving in a small jet before the Obamas was the first dog, Bo, a Portuguese water dog given as a present by the late U.S. Sen Ted Kennedy, D-Mass....As the rest of us toil on the unemployment line, as millions of Americans find their retirement accounts dwindling, their hours at work cut, and their pay scale trimmed, King Barack and Queen Michelle are flying their little doggie, Bo, on his own special jet airplane for his own little vacation adventure.
Well, it must be nice to be able to afford to fly your doggie about the country whenever you feel like it. It must be nice to hire people to act as your dog's escort. It must be comforting to know that you have the power to arrange such luxury for a dog.

Air traffic at the small Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport in Trenton was shut down for the presidential arrival. A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter patrolled the air in anticipation of the first family's touchdown, and a pair of local fire and rescue trucks stood ready on an otherwise empty tarmac at the private air hangar. And all this on OUR dime, folks. We are paying for our monarch to fly his pets around the country on their own special jets, folks.
The Obamas then traveled onto Mount Desert Island in a motorcade of at least 16 vehicles. It was led by two Maine State Police cruisers and included five black Chevrolet Suburbans.
Perhaps Barack Obama isn't like a king. Perhaps he's more like an emperor? An emperor like the fiddling Nero.

When I read this story it made me realize that Obama doesn't see himself as president but King. So this link is Jefferson's words indicting this king. http://morganj428.blogspot.com/2010/07/indictment-against-want-to-be-king.html
While Bo and family are vacationing on the clean coast of Maine he advises other Americans to take their holidays on the Gulf Coast---something seems amiss here. I just had a nice day on the Mississippi Coast. Come on in Mr. President the waters fine. Put your money where your mouth is for a change.
Our tax dollars at work!
I don't doubt it. Obama thinks that he is king. We'd better get rid of him in November. WAKE UP AMERICA.
A president never takes a vacation with just his family. Naturally, the family goes with white house staff, aides, secret service and others. They didn't take a 747 - they took a much smaller plane. They couldn't fit as many people on that smaller plane as they could on the 747, so they took two smaller planes instead of one big plane. Doesn't seem too outrageous to me.
The dog did not get his own private jet - he was just sent on that plane. Not a big deal, so I don't see the need to make one of it.
Well, as I see it there is one good side to all this excessive security and shutting down of airports, 16 Suburbans, etc. There must be a good reason for it. I'll leave you with that thought.
Well, Jim Brown, we can't exactly get rid of Obama in November but we can certainly rid his near total grasp of power by voting out all who support his brand of socialsm
Memo hit it on the head...if you knew about airports, you'd know that Hancock County-Bar Harbor isn't large enough to take a 747. Thus, as Memo correctly pointed out, there were multiple trips, including the plane that had Bo on it. The flight was hardly built around Bo.
Geez, I'd think people who post on here, especially ones smart enough to know that we can vote the President out in November, would know this type of stuff.
All I can say is I'm glad George W. never took vacations! And when he did, he took Greyhound.
By now everyone knows the President and his family did not fly in on a 747. It is not even mentioned in the article except to say a 7474 was too large to get to POTUS planned vacation spot.
I hope we can all agree it would have been cheaper to let BO stay home at the Big House (White House) where there was plenty of staff to care for him.
And it is also clear that the Mr. and Mrs. Obama have taken far more vacation in a year than most Americans take in many years, and these vacations were on the "our money." Note: we are not even counting the "official business trips" the "at home special entertainment" or "the special features built for the POTUS family's use at Camp David and the White House.
The key point is that enough is enough. At least one could try not to make it so obvious that they really don't care about what the rest of America thinks and or that they totally enjoy spending every dollar they can.
For those of you not on the public dole - receiving and not paying taxes, I hope you aren't too frustrated that your grandchildren will be paying for the past, current and future vacations of the present POTUS, his family and little BO.
As for me, we hired the guy and not his family and he gets sufficiently paid and will have that pay for life. So, stop with the big spending of our dollars on your families entertainment.
When somebody breaks Reagan's record of 41 days of vacation for his first year in office (many of which involved long, expensive flights to and from his home in California,) I'll start to worry. But honestly I don't even care, because I don't expect the most powerful men in the world (US Presidents) to throw the kids in the back of the station wagon and drive down to Disney World like common rubes.
Going to one's own home - is not going on an expensive vacation. Reagan, literally was always at work.
Where ever the president goes, he is never truly on vacation. If the present president returned to his own home (in Illinois) as did most prior presidents, Democrat and Republican, everyone could understand his wishes to do so.
Camp David was created as one of the alternative to going home.
It is the present president's constant globe - US trotting for specific vacations that people noticed.
This vacation trip will be most enjoyable because Obama is going with personal Jet planes. Nice post.
and is this why we are cutting military wages? so some mutt can fly on his own plane..where is the justices
