Herman Cain is definitely a major "find" in the Tea Party/Patriot Movement. I know my friend Ellen Carmichael, one of the great young political activists in the country, is working with Mr. Cain.
Herman was here in Phoenix at, among other places, the Tea Party Patriot's Summit. He brought the house down...here is a candidate that every patriot, tea partier or no, can get behind.
In order to get someone real good in, people from all walks of life are going to have to support him...Cain can make that happen with our support!
I would definitively like to see Herman Cain as our presidential candidate. I also like Allen West but he may be too young for the presidency, maybe VP.
I like Herman Cain, I know him, we are good friends, but not sure if he would be a good President.. I know he would be good VP..
It's important to look at a presidential or vice-presidential possibility and ask, "What are his (or her) real strengths" and "What are his (or her) vulnerabilities?" One of Allen West's is that he did not make full Colonel. Why?
May I ask why you say Cain would not be a good President? & do you have someone else in mind that is worth researching? It is urgent we get behind our candidate now...
Allen West was an honorable man. He did not make Col. because he was forced to retire over a shooting incident in Iraq. Facts follow from when he was running for Congress:
In August 2003, Allen West was a battalion commander in Iraq. After seeing an increase in area violence, he was overseeing the interrogation of an Iraqi police officer.
"For me it was very important to make sure my men were not exposed to an unnecessary ambush," said West.
As the Iraqi policeman continued to stonewall, what West did next sparked controversy.
"Then I said 'OK this is it.' I had a soldier that held him tight and I held his head this way (pointing over the policeman's head with the gun pointing away from the man) then shot back across into the clearing barrel. That was it. Scared me as much as it scared him," said West.
The policeman was not injured and did talk, and West says future attacks were thwarted. West reported the shooting incident immediately to his commanding officer. The case went before a military hearing.
"It's not about doing something that was wrong, I did something that maybe wasn't right," said West.
West is proud to say he didn't lose a single soldier under his leadership.

Cain's little finger has more understanding of what it means to be president than BHO has. He speaks far better than BHO w/o a teleprompter. Cain has remained faithful in his efforts and is well accepted even by the TEA Party. Check out the video and go to his website for more info.
Herman Cain will not be president of the US. He ran for the Senate nomination against Jonny Isakson . . . and lost, in his home state of GA. He is a social liberal, according to Georgian Sahar and others, approved of the bailouts and is a big supporter of (and former member of) the Federal Reserve. Lt. Col. West is a first-term congressman (he's been in for less than two months) who has said he will not be a candidate for president in 2012. The fact that people look great on a couple of YouTubes does not make them serious presidential candidates. My problem with Chris Christie is that he endorsed very liberal Mike Castle over conservative Christine O'Donnell. Rick Santorum? He lost his last race for the Senate in PA by 59-41, even though he spent the ungodly sum of $27 million, raised from nearly every special interest group on the planet.
