Gas Price Hypocrisy
Don Smith Show: In 2006 the Democrats and the media screamed bloody murder over the high price of gas. When Barack Obama was inaugurated, the average gas price was $1.87 a gallon. Now that the price has more than doubled, what are the Democrats and the administration saying now? If you guessed that high gas prices under Obama are somehow a good thing, give yourself a pat on the back. The liberal mindset is always an amazing thing to behold.

Energy Secretary Steven Chu said it in December 2008, "Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe." It hs been the plan all along and now they blame the oil companies.

... with ya Lew. Also ... it might help things a bit IF, our Government had an ENERGY POLICY !!! Team Obummer has virtually ignored the Energy, Immigration, and Job Creation issues well OVER TWO YEARS !!! Every problem, issue, and/or concern that this "president" should be dealin' with, (and at least tryin' to resolve), he has continuously ...[rolled-the-bummer]... to someone of something else... thus the name ... Obummer.
Hard to believe but that's what the people are actually doing to the small fry out there. I'm extremely thankful that I am within walking distance to most shopping centers where I don't have to travel twenty miles for a gallon of milk.

Look closely at the clip and you will see that the real hypocrisy is from the creator of the video. The easist to see is the interview with Amanda Ripley near the end of the video. Note the Time Magazine cover in the background. If you research the cover, you will find that that issue is dated July 14, 2008. Ms. Ripley had an article in Time about the benefits of high gas prices in the July 2, 2008 issue of Time. Yet Don Smith, the narrator of the video would like the viewer to believe that the video clip with Ms. Ripley was made since Obama took office. The Harry Smith clip and the Priva David clip are also from July 2008.
I would also identify myself as Anonymous in the above comment if I was attacking the video based on the inept statements.
The picture of Time mentioned was on Riply's set /office from which she was making a statement. She is a long time contributor to TIME magazine and was proudly evidencing her related publication as a self-proclaimed liberal expert on gas prices in Time magazine - a liberal mouth piece. The video clip itself was not 2008. Did you notice her mentioning the current gasoline prices and "lives saved"?
Ripley made the extreme unsubstantiated OPINION that if gasoline stays at prices of $4 or more that we can expect 1,100 people a month will not die from particle pollution. Hope she walks to work in Washington, D.C. everyday as part of her particle prevention program. LOL
Also the other referenced video clips were rightly dated for the time period referenced in the video.
Based on this anonymous post it is evident that Obama lovers and those "going green" advocates who promote increased gasoline prices to social engineer society and their agenda are out there reading the blogs and posting comments like the one by anonymous.
