I Want You Back

We The People want our freedom and individual choices back - we want our country back. But now and then we also need to rest and recuperate sorta like military troops do when the USO entertain.

I enjoy listening to excellent talent performed. Maybe it because I can't do what they do. Or, maybe it's because music moves our souls of mankind

Well this year, I DVR'ed NBC's "The Voice" which seeks to pick the person with best musical voice. While I didn't like the options and some of the methods of eliminating people so as to reduce the contestants to the final four, I just had to remind myself it entertainment, and oh yes, using my Dish DVR, I could skip much of the "BS" and all the ads.

Many of the contestant who were dropped by the wayside were also very good. But, one has to accept that The Voice and its judges were also part of the entertainment. The People (viewers) choose the winner from the final four performers. And their winning choice as of The Voice this year was Jermain Paul.

Before the announcement of the people's choice, the finalists as well as other contestants put together performances which were performed. Jermain Paul, Jamar Rogers, James Massone and Pip performed Michael Jackson's "I Want You Back." The were exceptional! I liked it better than Michael Jackson's own performance. Hey, no rocks please :)
