Obama’s comment Friday during a campaign stop in Roanoke, Va., came just days after he urged Congress to extend tax cuts enacted during the Bush administration only to families earning less than $250,000 annually -- part of his argument that top earners have an obligation to pay more to trim the deficit. . . .
“If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen,” he said. “The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.”

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, has pledged a vote on the Obama plan before Congress’ August recess, but whether he has the votes remains unclear. A handful of Democrats – include several facing a tough re-election bid – don’t want to vote on a proposal that would result in a tax increase for some Americans. . . .
Leaders of the GOP-controlled House want to extend the cuts for all Americans and will almost assuredly reject any plan capping them at the $250,000 income level, or $200,000 for individuals. The cuts will expire in January. [Read Full Story]

I have come to learn that all socialists believe that any accumulation of wealth is the result of inheritance or fraud. They ABSOLUTELY do not believe wealth comes from hard work or ingenuity.

So, according to Obama, the man who never ran anything, (except running America into the ground), says: "If you've got a business - you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen" Really? What did Obama ever build, besides the worst economy since the depression, 8.2 percent unemployment, and bitterness and hatred between the classes
I didn't see Obama, Biden or their Small Business Administration "make my company happen" when I finally scraped enough money together after being 'downsized' at age 67 to build my IT consulting company.
Small American businessmen and women didn't see a penny from that $837 Billion dollar Obama stimulus, but Fisker Automotive of Finland did, getting $500 Million to build electric cars and 1,000 jobs in Finland! And, $118 million in stimulus money to Russia's Ener1, plus another $81 million in state funds to produce high-end electric batteries for our military? How about $2.1 Billion Obama gave to Brazil's PetroBras Oil exploration, while cancelling America's Keystone Pipe line, costing America 20,000 jobs and an abundance of cheap oil?
We small businessmen and women don't deserve Obama's and the Democrats contempt or ridicule for doing what REAL Americans have done for years: Work hard, work long and build businesses with our own money and "sweat equity", without some 'self promoting, community organizer' taking credit!
But I killed Osama and earned the Nobel Prize all by myself.
