I'm for a flat tax of 10%. no loop holes, no deductions. You make $1.00, your tax is .10c...you make $100.00, your tax in $10.00, and so on...
There is no "fair" tax. this way everyone pays the same rate. it doesn't kill the incentive to work. It reduces the IRS to a receiving agency rather than a collection agency. taxes are worked out on a post card. tax law is reduced to a sentence, " your tax is 10% of your income." it would allow people to save enough through the year to pay their taxes. it would put more money into the system....

.Morgun Powder; and who decides what gets taxed, and at what rate? city, county, state, and fed.?...no thanks, ill stay with the flat tax thank you...with the flat tax, nothing is taxed, no phone, no lights no motorcars, not a single luxery.
You think the irs is trouble now? just wait till they get their hands on a "fair" tax. like i said there is no "fair" tax.
If I buy a $1.29 coke and the tax is $12.00 dollars?...no thanks
and with a "fair" tax it turns retailers into tax collectors. i for one don't want to see my local mom and pop store as a tax collector; or walmart for that matter. It is not their job to be tax collectors. now they would have to hire someone to keep track of all that crap. because of govt. regulations there would have to be an oversight something to make sure ALL retailers were collecting the proper taxes....."fair tax"..no thanks.
And what would be my incentive for opening my own business? to become a tax collector?..uh...no.
And with all them oversight people looking in on my business all the time, whose business will it become? And what about all those power hungry overseers? no...the fair tax will only empower the government by getting them even closer to my personal business.
Talk about audits....that would be an ongoing and constant job done by none other than the government...no thanks!

No flat tax. Fair Sales Tax is what we need. Flat tax means that illegals and the black market still go untaxed. It also means that we are still taxing production which puts us at a disadvantage internationally. Tax consumption. Every time anyone buys anything, tax it. This way foreign goods get taxed equally. This way illegals pay taxes. This way the black market pays taxes when pimps and drug lords buy SUVs with hot tubs in the back.

Let's have them all line dance to the Unemployment line when the FairTax passes into Law...
"Close the IRS......tax the illegals & all those who don't pay taxes...... prebate for all American citizens to cover tax on necessities......no more payroll taxes......."
It's really time to strike hard with fair tax. Rid the USA of the IRS ways.
