List of House Republicans That Joined Democrats To Pass The "Clean" Debt Ceiling
Updated 6:01 PM: The Washington Times reported, "The House passed a “clean” debt ceiling increase Tuesday granting President Obama power to borrow as much as the government needs for the next 13 months, after House Republican leaders surrendered their longstanding vow to demand concessions in exchange for any debt hike.
"Unable to muster his own troops, GOP Speaker John A. Boehner had to turn to Democrats to provide the votes to pass the legislation, which cleared on a 221-201 vote. The bill now goes to the Senate, which needs to pass it before the end of the month or else the Treasury Department says it will run out of borrowing room and face a market-rattling default of the government’s obligations.
"Boehner said he was left no choice, but said voters should take their anger out on Mr. Obama. 'It’s the president driving up the debt and the president wanting to do nothing about the debt that’s occurring, [who] will not engage in our long-term spending problem — and so let his party give him the debt-ceiling increase that he wants' . . . Democrats hailed the vote as a victory and heaped praise on Mr. Boehner, who they said put the country ahead of the tea party wing of his own Republican caucus by going ahead with the vote."
In summary, 28 Republicans joined 193 Democrats voting for the increase. Two Democrats and 199 Republicans voted against it. Five Democrats and 5 Republicans did not vote on the bill. Fox News identified the following 28 Republicans who voted FOR the open ended debt ceiling increase without spending limits:

My God.....I don't see how they can defend their actions ......... Darryl Issa??
Was also shocked at Issa vote but he may hold his position as Chair of Oversight committee to Speaker Boehner. Most of the leadership voted for the "clean" debt ceiling. Noted all the AR delegation said no.
Dave, Yes. the only Republican Rep from OH to vote for the bill was Speaker Boehner.
I'll be, their definition of clean isn't the same as ours.
Bill you are incorrect. Every republican representative supported this issue by keeping Boehner in the position of "Speaker of the House". They are all complicit with with the raising of the debt ceiling. I am ashamed of them all.
Boehner said he was left no choice, but said voters should take their anger out on Mr. Obama. I am sorry Mr. Boehner, but Obama did not bring this to the house floor to vote on, you did. While Obama will sign it, he did not vote for it, you did. You say, let his party give him the debt-ceiling increase that he wants, the voters would have left the democrats in office if that is what they wanted.
This debt-ceiling increase rests squarely on your shoulders Mr. Boehner, because your were in place to stop it and you did nothing!
Time for a new speaker. He broke the Hassert rule. Out he must go.
Treachery is predominate in so many of congress. They would sell you into slavery for their benefit. They don't love you!
