Criminals are generally cowards, preferring to attack the most vulnerable and defenseless among us. However, when faced with the prospect of meeting armed resistance when committing their crimes they hesitate, they are more wary, they are fearful that their former prey may now be armed and they put their own life at risk when committing further crimes. This pattern of decreased crime rate when society is increasingly armed has occurred in virtually every state that has made concealed carry legal. 'More Guns Less Crime' is not just the title of a very good book by John Lott, it is also irrefutable fact!
