Hooray!!! The Washington Establishment WINS again!!! Their lifetime member, Donald Trump, successfully blocks out the Conservative candidate.
David, really? Neither the media nor the actual Washington Establishment nor the National GOP considered Donald Trump a member of "Washington establishment." They not only didn't support him but actively opposed him. It was not Trump that "blocked" the other candidates - it was the voters in the primaries. Note, I received constant emails from the other GOP candidates and numerous PACs asking for money. Did not receive any from Trump. I also received emails from the other top candidates (but not Kasich) criticizing other candidates. I also never received an email from the Trump campaign criticizing or slandering the other candidates.
I am old enough to remember another person who was a former Democrat turned conservative and Republican who was vilified by the Washington establishment & Republicans leaders who went on to become a great president and real leader of the Conservative movement - Ronald Reagan. I am not going to say before history reveals the truth, that Trump is a Ronald Reagan but I can assure you that the other Republicans in the final count down of candidates were definitely not even close to Ronald Reagan. And, stopping the socialists be it Clinton or Sanders is the major issue of this election.
