Known for Trying to Buy Elections, Guess Who Mike Bloomberg Is Endorsing?

by Bob Owens: Former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, best known for pouring millions of dollars into elections and ballot initiatives around the nation in an effort to undermine the gun rights of American citizens, is now endorsing the first Presidential candidate in American history who is specifically promising to gut the Constitution.Ex-NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg is set to give a prime-time speech and endorse the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee at this week’s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia – just a week after former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani addressed the Republican convention in a fiery speech to lend his support to GOP nominee Donald Trump.

The news was first reported by The New York Times and subsequently confirmed by Bloomberg, who retweeted the Times story with the title highlighted: “Dismayed by Donald Trump, Michael Bloomberg will Endorse Hillary Clinton.”

... “As the nation’s leading independent and a pragmatic business leader, Mike has supported candidates from both sides of the aisle,” Howard Wolfson told The Times. “This week in Philadelphia he will make a strong case that the clear choice in this election is Hillary Clinton.”Bloomberg is not now, nor has he ever been, an “independent.”

He was a Democrat for decades, and only changed his party affiliation in order to run on a much less crowded Republican primary ballot in his bid to become the Mayor of New York City. He’s since changed his affiliation to “independent” in name only (IINO?) while pushing reliably leftist gun control and personally bankrolling Mayors Against Illegal Guns (now mostly defunct with so many members in prison), Moms Demand Action and Everytown for Gun Safety (both largely discredited for generating false gun control statistics that make even their allies in the anti-gun press roll their eyes), and an equally biased “gun news” outlet, The Trace.

Bloomberg has spent tens of millions of dollars in efforts to undermine the 2nd Amendment rights of American citizens while riding in armored vehicles, surrounded by a phalanx of heavily-armed bodyguards.

It’s quite fitting that a raging authoritarian hypocrite with Bloomberg’s pedigree would endorse a corrupt, authoritarian hypocrite like Hillary Clinton, who has made gutting the Second Amendment rights of American citizens her primary goal, and who has described people who merely want to be free, as her enemies.

Neither Clinton nor Bloomberg want what’s best for the citizens of the United States.

In their hatred of your liberties and desire to tell you how to live, they make a wonderful couple.
