War On Cops Diversion While Peace Continues in Oklahoma
by Bob McDowell, Contributing Author : It seems to me that there is a continuing use of any incident or incidents by the ‘media’, actual mouthpieces of the Democrat National Committee, to divert the attention of the public away from the visible shortcomings of their candidate, Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton. Current examples in evidence are the two recent "cop killing of ‘unarmed’ black men" in Charlotte, NC and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In Charlotte there were rather massive riots immediately showing up on the TV screens and in the radio "news." Soon there were police reports that up to 70% of the worst rioters arrested were from "out of state." Oh, and how did they ‘show up’ so quickly and all prepared with bull horns and signs to proceed with fires and looting? Could it be that the usual incident financial backers, such as George Soros, had a hand in this rioting?
The usual chant of "Black lives matter" was voiced. When the truth of the situation came out, it was that the decedent black man had a criminal record, possessed a gun illegally, and was smoking "pot." Later we learned that the involved police officer was black, and the chief of police was black. The rioters still mantained the cry of "cops killing innocent black man."
Meanwhile in Tulsa, much to the surprise and chagrin of those hoping for more ‘diversion’ from the political campaign, the shooter was a white female Tulsa Police Officer and the black man was unarmed. It was determined the man was acting in a suspicious manner and his vehicle was parked in the middle of a street blocking traffic with the engine running. He was some distance away acting in a "strange manner" according to at least two 911 callers. Further, his car was found to have illegal drugs in the car.
However in Oklahoma, the black community turned to their churches, and the clergy preached peace and prayer. Thus Tulsa violence did not escalate quickly became a non-issue for the national media. It was more or less forgotten, except that a black lawyer was on the local TV news espousing that the "officer should be immediately arrested and jailed." He claimed to be a ‘past President of the National Bar Association’ but I have not as of this report confirmed that claim.
Now, reportedly on advise of counsel, the family has requested that the ‘Rev.’ Al Sharpton come to Tulsa. Maybe, in keeping with his propensity to be present before, not after, riots begin, he might not show up.
While nothing has come to my attention that the national media have ever called our area "the buckle" of the Bible belt, our religious centers be they Christian, Jewish, independent or other are at the forefront are promoting a sense of civility sadly missing in some other parts of the Nation. While Oklahoma, the former Indian territory, is very diverse racially and culturally. However, it is noted that in each of the last two presidential elections, there was not even ONE county in Oklahoma that had a majority vote for Obama.
Presently, peace continues in Oklahoma.
